Jimmy’s Big Shot is an easygoing outdoor café and bar tucked into Costa Palmas on the East Cape of Baja. It’s a love letter to old-school ice cream parlors and a very personal homage to Jimmy (the developer’s dad), served with sunshine and a little swagger.
Set between the grotto pool and the resort’s courts and fields, Jimmy’s is all about casual moments that turn into long hangs. You grab a drink, maybe a sweet treat, maybe something stronger, and suddenly you’re staying longer than planned. There’s plenty of bar seating for quick stops and lounge seating hidden in lush greenery for lingering afternoons.
Jimmy’s doesn’t try too hard. It’s playful, familiar, and full of charm. The kind of place you stumble into after a swim and end up coming back to every day.
